Inspiring a World of Habitual Savers
Transamerica Center for Retirement Studies is pleased to announce the upcoming May 27 release of new research report – Inspiring a World of Habitual Savers – based on findings from its recently completed fourth annual global Retirement Readiness Survey, conducted in conjunction with Aegon.
The survey found that people expect to be retired for approximately 20 years and traditional views of what that entails are changing. The report examines what individuals, employers and governments can do to help people prepare for a happy and financially secure retirement, and how together they can inspire a world of habitual savers. It also identifies a group of individuals who feel better prepared than others and takes a closer look at who these people are and what they are doing to plan for retirement.
The report is based on one of the largest surveys of its kind, with 16,000 respondents, spanning 15 countries in the Americas, Europe, Asia and Australia. This report also includes case studies of two age-friendly employers who are embracing, attracting and retaining older workers, as well as tips from retirees on financial decisions.
